Jon Paul Lupo

Jon Paul Lupo has served in senior leadership roles on successful political and issue campaigns across the country and is amongst the top tier of government affairs specialists in New York City.

He is the founder of Arete Public Affairs, a consultancy specializing in strategic communications, campaign management, and public affairs.

Lupo has helped lead messaging and press strategy for campaigns nationally and in New York, Virginia, South Dakota, Alabama, and Georgia, helping to elect candidates to every level of office from City Council to U.S. Senator. He has planned, managed, and executed multi-million dollar paid media budgets for mail, research, television, and digital advertising.

Lupo previously served as Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the NYC Mayor’s Office and Communications Director and Chief of Staff to the Brooklyn Borough President.
